Remote Support

In many instances, your computer is well enough to be on the internet, but not running in great shape.  This is where remote support can help.  With a small download (less the 1MB), I can remotely administer your machine.  This allows me to operate your computer from wherever I am.  No unplugging your computer to bring it in, or waiting for a technician to come to your house.  Those method of support can also save you some money.  Remote support has a one hour minimum, and a lower rate of $25 / hr.  Most of my services can be completed remotely, but there are some exceptions.  Some of the exceptions include but are not limited to:

• Data Recovery Services
• Backup Services (Except backups to attached HD's)
• Major Virus and Spyware infestations

You can download the remote support software from the bottom of this page.  You must talk to me before using this software, as it requires both of us to take action in order to make a connection.  Some ground rules for the remote control session include but are not limited to:

• When I have control of your PC you are not use the computer except as directed by me.  (This one might seem pretty obvious but, I have had several customers just start using the PC as I am working on it).  This rule helps keep your costs down.
• Do not stop any running processes on the PC.
• Be available to restart the remote control program in the case of a reboot.
