In the world of the internet today, there are more and more places to pick up malware, spryware, and viruses. There are plenty of sites out there that are specifically designed to trick you into downloading their malware. These range from harmless items that will report your browsing history, to malicious software that will systematically destroy your computer. Call me and we can come up with a plan for removal.
Sometimes we can eliminate all virus' and malware in a matter of hours, but sometimes the infestation is just to great and the only solution to the problem is a clean operating system restore.
This is why I like to treat every case as an individual case. I have a flat rate fee for virus/spyware/malware removal of just $60. This rate includes up to two hours of removal work. After two hours, I will deem the infestation too deep to remove without disabling the system. At this point you will be given an option of whether you would like me to proceed with the re-installation of the operating system or if you would like to have your PC back to restore yourself.
System restoration is a $70 flat rate service without data transfer and a $100 flat rate service with data transfer. If system restoration is the option chosen I will discount the rate by $30, this gives you half of your money back from the removal fee. This will bring your total bill for getting a clean PC to a maximum of $130 (about what it would cost to get Geek Squad to even look at your computer).
The reason I layout my pricing structure this way is to give you more options with your money. Five times out of ten, by the time someone has got me involved with their PC's virus problems, it is too late, so I like to encourage people to consider the option of forgoing the removal step and going straight to a system restore.
